La Soirée returns to London for Southbank residency

The cult hit will make the Spiegeltent at the Southbank Centre its home as part of the venue’s Winter Festival

Cult variety show La Soirée will return to London following a three year absence for a run at the Southbank Centre's Spiegeltent as part of their 10th anniversary year.

The show, which will run from 5 November 2014 to 11 January 2015 as part of Southbank's Winter Festival, will see acts such as The English Gents, Ursula Martinez and Jess Love returning.

It will also feature numerous London debuts from acts including David and Fofo, Asher Treleaven, Marcus Monroe, Scotty the Blue Bunny, Jonathan Burns and Saulo & Anna.

Coming straight from a six month residency at New York's Union Square Theatre and a subsequent world tour, La Soirée – the "little show with a big heart" – promises to have their hottest line up yet. with its signature mix of cabaret, burlesque and circus.

Speaking of their return to London, creative producer Brett Haylock says: "London is where audiences and critics fell in love with our dysfunctional family like no other. For our contemporary carnies and troubadours of no fixed abode, London is home."
