Kinky Boots extends booking to February 2016

The upcoming UK premiere of Kinky Boots has extended its booking period at the Adelphi Theatre to 6 February 2016.

The screen-to-stage show, which won six Tony Awards following its 2013 Broadway premiere, opens at the Adelphi on 15 September 2015 (previews from 21 August).

It features music by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction/choreography by Jerry Mitchell.

Kinky Boots is adapted from the 2006 Brit flick that starred Chiwetel Ejiofor as a drag queen who helps an ailing shoe company design a new line of sturdy fetish footwear.

The West End production stars Matt Henry and Killian Donnelly, alongside Amy Lennox, Amy Ross, Jamie Baughan and Michael Hobbs.
