Further names revealed for An Oak Tree at The Other Palace

Additional casting has been announced for Tim Crouch’s An Oak Tree, which is set to run at the Other Palace from 5 October to 15 November 2026.

The production sees Crouch perform opposite a different guest actor at every performance, with each performer stepping on stage without having read or rehearsed the play beforehand.

Newly confirmed today are Tanya Reynolds (24 October evening), Dónal Finn (1 November) and Suranne Jones (15 November).

They join previously announced guest performers Rosalie Craig (9 October), Olivia Williams (10 October), Rhashan Stone (11 October), Clare Perkins (13 October), Tom Mothersdale (14 October), Gemma Whelan (15 October), Bessie Carter (16 October), Juliet Stevenson (18 October), Sacha Dhawan (23 October), Sophie Melville (25 October), Sean Gilder (27 October), Hammed Animashaun (29 October), Brian Gleeson (30 October), Ria Zmitrowicz (8 November), and George Fouracres (10 November).

First performed in 2005, An Oak Tree has been staged in more than 19 countries. More than 350 performers have taken part over the last two decades.

The production forms part of Francesca Moody Productions’ season at the Other Palace, celebrating shows that first premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Also included in the season are Garry Starr: Classic Penguins (22 October 2026 to 3 January 2027) and Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible Is Going to Happen (19 November 2026 to 10 January 2027), written by Marcelo Dos Santos, directed by Matthew Xia and starring Steven Webb.
