The full cast joining Andy Nyman and Judy Kuhn in Fiddler on the Roof has been announced.
Performing alongside the pair in the West End transfer of the Menier Chocolate Factory's production will be Nicola Brown (Chava), Harriet Bunton (Hodel), Dermot Canavan (Lazar Wolf), Stewart Clarke (Perchik), Joshua Gannon (Motel), Matthew Hawksley (Fyedka), Louise Gold (Yente) and Molly Osborne (Tzeitel).
Also appearing will be Miles Barrow, Sofia Bennett, Philip Bertioli, Lottie Casserley, Elena Cervesi, Lia Cohen, Talia Etherington, Shoshana Ezequiel, Isabella Foat, Fenton Gray, James Hameed, Adam Linstead, Adam Margilewski, Robert Maskell, Benny Maslov, Robyn McIntyre, Gaynor Miles, Ellie Mullane, Tania Newton, Craig Pinder, Valentina Theodoulou and Ed Wade.
Originally running at the Menier in south London, Trevor Nunn's production has choreography from Matt Cole (based on Jerome Robbins' original), set designs from Robert Jones, costume designs from Jonathan Lipman, hair and make up design from Richard Mawbey, lighting designs from Tim Lutkin; sound designs from Gregory Clarke, musical supervision and direction from Paul Bogaev and orchestrations from Jason Carr.
The piece sees the Playhouse Theatre transformed into a specially reconfigured space, and opens for previews on 21 March after completing its run at the Menier Chocolate Factory on 9 March.
Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick and Joseph Stein's musical is about Tevye the milkman, his wife and his five daughters and features such classic songs as "Sunrise, Sunset," "If I Were a Rich Man" and "Matchmaker, Matchmaker".
Critic Sarah Crompton said that the piece saw "Songs become soliloquies, dances the expression of deep psychological and sociological barriers" and that it was "overwhelming and engrossing" in her five-star review. Tickets are on sale now.
