Diane’s Deli: A Tale From Paradise Heights follows the story of cafe owner Sean Ginty and DC Mackey, from the Paradise Heights Police. Sean is a quiet and unassuming man, whose watch stopped 25 years ago, while DC Mackey is a burnt out and bitter man with an eye for opportunity and the other eye on Sean. When a woman visits the cafe late one night, a tale of horror will begin to unfold.
Tales from Paradise Heights is a series of plays and films created by writer/director Joe O’Byrne. The community of Paradise Heights has been the backdrop for many films and plays, including the award-winning short film I’m Frank Morgan and acclaimed production Strawberry Jack.
Diane’s Deli: A Tale From Paradise Heights will be performed at The Kings Arms, in Salford, between August 26 and August 30.
