Production images have been released for Billionaire Boy, which opens in Southampton this week ahead of its UK tour in 2019.
Based on David Walliams' story of the same name, the show follows a young boy who becomes an overnight lucrative smash. It is adapted by Jon Brittain (Rotterdam) and has music by Miranda Cooper and Nick Coler in what will be their first musical, with direction by Luke Sheppard (Spring Awakening).
Billionaire Boy has musical supervision and co-orchestration by Ben Holder, set and costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Nic Farman, sound design by Paul Gatehouse, choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves and casting by Annelie Powell.
The show runs in Southampton until 6 January before touring to Salford, Coventry and Cardiff. You can watch the cast in rehearsals below:
