Casting has been announced for the new dance thriller based on Robert Louis Stevenson's Jekyll and Hyde, which opens at the Old Vic in May.

Devised, directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie, with music by Grant Olding, the production will feature Daniel Collins (Show Boat, Crucible) as Dr Jekyll, Tim Hodges (The Car Man, Sadler's Wells) as Mr Hyde and Rachel Muldoon (Wicked, West End) as Dahlia.

The cast also includes Ashley Andrews, Joao Carolino, Carrie Taylor Johnson, Anabel Kutay, Ebony Molina, Fraya Rowley, Alexzandra Sarmiento, Barnaby Thompson and Jason Winter.

McOnie's recent credits include Oklahoma! (UK tour), Bugsy Malone (Lyric Hammersmith) and In the Heights (Southwark Playhouse & King's Cross Theatre). It has recently been announced that he will direct and choreograph Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom at the West Yorkshire Playhouse later this year.

Jekyll and Hyde runs at the Old Vic from 21 – 28 May.
