The show is in its final few weeks in London

Tru, starring Jesse Tyler Ferguson, will welcome a new Swan to the cast.
Jay Presson Allen’s play is set in December 1975 and follows Truman Capote as he is alone in his New York apartment, dealing with a crisis that has cost him the friendship of the social circle he had been part of. The play is drawn entirely from Capote’s own words and was originally staged in 1989.
Directed by Rob Ashford, it is running at the Menier Chocolate Factory this autumn and received a favourable review from our WhatsOnStage critic.
Revealed today, Nathalie Harrison, a former dancer with The Royal Ballet, will join Ferguson in the role of The Swan. She takes over from Charlotte d’Amboise for the remainder of the run.
Tru is presented by the Menier Chocolate Factory in association with Seaview, OHenry Productions, Mickey Liddell & Pete Shilaimon and A Dog Named Beckett Productions.
The production previously ran at the House of the Redeemer’s Library in New York City in March, with Ashford, Ferguson and d’Amboise also collaborating on the production.
The creative team comprises set designer Paul Farnsworth, costume designer Jaimal Odedra, lighting designer Jamie Platt, sound designer Adam Cork and associate director/Swan walking cover Kate Tydman.
Tru continues its London run until 14 November.
