Hampstead Theatre has announced the full cast for Tom Stoppard’s Jumpers, directed by Blanche McIntyre.

Stoppard’s 1972 comedy of murder, marriage and metaphysics has not been seen in London for more than 20 years. The production follows Hampstead Theatre’s revivals of Indian Ink, The Invention of Love, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Hapgood.

Heartstopper star Rhea Norwood will play Dorothy, with James Corrigan as George.

They are joined by Jude Akuwudike as Crouch, Tim McMullan as Archie, Scarlett Stitt (Cara and Kelly Are Best Friends Forever for Life at Soho Theatre) as Secretary and Jason Thorpe (Fatherland at Hampstead Theatre) as Inspector Bones.

Joshua Arkey, Alex Anthony Fevrier, Nick Godfrey, Alex Houston, Laura Kenyon, Ocean Navarro, Dominic Owen and Miguel Torres Umba complete the cast as jumpers.

The production will run on the venue’s main stage from 25 November 2026 to 23 January 2027, with a press night on 7 December.

Set in a Britain on the brink of change, the play follows George, a Professor of Moral Philosophy, who is writing a paper titled Man – good, bad or indifferent? while his wife Dotty, a reclusive former musical star, hosts a fateful election party featuring a live band and acrobatics.

The creative team comprises designer Robert Innes Hopkins, lighting designer Guy Hoare, sound designer George Dennis, composer Tim Sutton, video designer Ian William Galloway and movement and circus director Tim Claydon. Anna Cooper is the casting director, with Jess Barton as assistant director.
