It’ll play at a brand new theatre

Cassidy Janson will star in Burlesque the Musical when the show returns to London this autumn.
The musical is based on the film starring Christina Aguilera and Cher and centres on Ali, who travels to New York in search of her mother and becomes immersed in an underground club scene. It is written and directed by Steven Antin.
Burlesque the Musical will play a new run at the new 550-seat Arts at Marble Arch. It follows two engagements in Manchester and a season in Glasgow, as well as a sold-out limited season at the Savoy Theatre.
Talking about the production, Janson said: “The songs are huge, the glamour is off the charts, and the costumes are absolutely insane.”
Antin added about her casting: “She’s glamorous, funny, fierce, wildly talented – and she has the sass and heart that make Tess unforgettable.”
Previews begin on Saturday 12 September 2026 and performances are currently booking until Sunday 31 January 2027.
At the same time, a second production will launch a UK tour, opening at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking. We’ve covered that in more detail here.
Burlesque the Musical features songs by Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess Folley and Todrick Hall.
Aguilera serves as executive producer alongside Adam Paulden, Jason Haigh-Ellery, Antin, Clint Culpepper and In Fine Company. Further cast and creative team details are yet to be announced.
Performances will take place from Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with additional matinees on Saturday at 3pm and Sunday at 2pm and 7pm.
