Ariana Grande and Josh Gad to lead Jon M Chu’s Oh, The Places You’ll Go

First casting details have been revealed for the upcoming animated movie adaptation of Oh, The Places You’ll Go.

The 1990 much-loved book by Dr Seuss encourages readers to imagine themselves as the young, unnamed protagonist who explores the world.

Warner Bros shared an Instagram post (which you can see below), revealing that Ariana Grande and Josh Gad will lend their voices to the film. As well as his stage credits, Gad famously voiced Olaf in the Frozen movies.

The project sees Grande reunite with Jon M Chu, after the pair have worked together on the award-winning big screen adaptation of Wickedwith Grande starring as Glinda and Chu directing. Jill Culton will co-direct.

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the EGOT status songwriters, known for their work on The Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen, and more, are primed to pen the tunes for the movie.

According to the Warner Bros social media post, Oh, The Places You’ll Go is expected to land in cinemas in 2028.

In addition to this, Chu is supposedly working on a film adaptation of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and gearing up for the November release of Wicked: For GoodHis work with the movie studio includes 2021’s In The Heights, and Crazy Rich Asians, which is in development for the stage.

Further voice cast is to be revealed.
