Felicity Kendal stars in the show which opens at Theatre Royal Bath
A Room with a View, which will star The Good Life actress Felicity Kendal, will tour the UK after opening in Bath in October.
Kendal plays Charlotte Bartlett, cousin and chaperone of English rose Lucy Honeychurch, played by Imogen Sage (Rebecca), as she tours Italy. She takes action when she sees Lucy fratenising with the lower-class likes of George Emerson, played by Tom Morely (Five Finger Exercise).
The production will open the Theatre Royal Bath on 6 October before touring to Brighton, Richmond, Guildford, Norwich and Cambridge before arriving at Chichester Festival Theatre in November.
The cast also includes Charlie Anson (American Psycho), Joanne Pearce (Kean), David Killick (The King’s Speech), Susie Fairfax (RSC), Abigail McKern (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Jeff Rawle (Lawrence After Arabia), Simon Jones (Brideshead Revisited) and Jack Loxton (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time).
The play is adapted from the 1908 novel of the same name by EM Forster and will be directed by 20-time Olivier Award-nominated Adrian Noble.
