Photos have been released offering a first look at Barrie Rutter's production of Shakespeare and John Fletcher's The Two Noble Kinsmen, which opens this week at the Globe.

Set in pastoral England, the piece follows two incarcerated men who fall for the same woman. It's Rutter's first production since stepping down as artistic director of Northern Broadsides and has original music composed by acclaimed folk musician Eliza Carthy, and dance choreographed by Ewan Wardrop. Set and costume design is by Jessica Worrall with costume supervision by Anna Josephs.

The Two Noble Kinsmen continues Michelle Terry's inaugural season at the Globe, which kicked off earlier this month with rep productions of As You Like It and Hamlet, and will continue with The Winter's Tale directed by Blanche McIntyre, and a new production of Othello directed by Claire Van Kampen and starring Mark Rylance (former artistic director at the venue) and André Holland (Moonlight).

The production, which has a cast including Matt Henry (Kinky Boots), Ellora Torchia (All's Well That Ends Well) and Bryan Dick (Great Apes), runs at the venue until 30 June.
