TINA has just extended booking through to December 2019, with Adrienne Warren and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith continuing in their roles as Tina and Ike Turner until 13 April. That, and announced plans to record a cast album, means that there's never been a better time to see this electrifying show. We look back at some of the show's most amazing moments in preparation for what is going to be 'Simply the Best' year.

The legendary Tina Turner has supported the new musical every step of the way, coming out of retirement for an epic launch and opening night – even treating us to hearing her sing some of her smash-hit songs!
3. Director Phyllida Lloyd meets Tina Turner
Phyllida Lloyd met up with Tina at her home in Switzerland (0:25) and asked that all-important question, "Why do you need this musical?". Tina famously replied, "I don't. I don't need a musical. I don't need another show, but I get cards and letters… You can't believe what people think about me on stage and the legacy I left. People said I gave them hope. It meant so much to people, I have to pass it on."
4. Katori Hall travels to Nutbush, Tennessee
Writer Katori Hall travelled all the way to Nutbush, Tennessee to see where the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll was born 'and how she became one of the world's biggest stars.
5. Adrienne Warren learns the famous Tina Turner dances
We'll never forget this dance lesson of a lifetime! When Adrienne Warren met with Tina in London (2:21), Tina asked if Adrienne could dance "the pony". Adrienne was then given a private lesson on how to rock the famous move!
6. Adrienne Warren stuns at the Royal Variety Performance

8. The cast perform on Britain's Got Talent
TINA wowed audiences at Britain's Got Talent with a roaring medley of some of Tina's biggest hits, including "Nutbush City Limits" and "Proud Mary", causing the whole audience to leap to their feet!
9. The star-studded opening night
Rod Steward, Dame Kelly Holmes, Graham Norton, Lenny Henry and many more celebrities walked the red carpet on opening night.
