Photos: Tina Turner and cast celebrate world premiere of Tina the Musical

Tina the Musical has opened in the West End and the legendary singer was in attendance at the Aldwych Theatre to help celebrate.

Starring Adrienne Warren in the title role, the musical is based on the life of rock star Tina Turner and is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall (The Mountaintop), with direction by Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia!).

Tina follows Ms Turner from a young age, through to her divorce from Ike Turner and time in London. The musical's cast also includes Kobna Holdbrook-Smith as Ike Turner.
