Starlight Express might be rolling its way back to British stages, according to the show's choreographer Arlene Phillips.

Talking at the opening night of Heathers, Philips said that a "totally reinvented" version of the show will hopefully be coming to the UK.

The production is currently running in Bochum, Germany, and was last seen in the West End in 2002, with a number of subsequent touring productions. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe's musical originally opened in 1984, directed by Trevor Nunn with Philips as choreographer.

In September 2017, the show presented a workshop style performance at London's Other Palace, with Christina Bennington, Sabrina Aloueche, Oliver Tompsett, Liam Tamne, George Ure, Laila Zaidi Mica Paris and Natalie McQueen among those performing.

Philips also mentioned that she will be totally reinventing the choreography for Grease!, which she originally worked on in the West End at the Dominion. The show is about to head out on a new UK tour with Peter Andre attached.
