Ben Elton's Queen musical We Will Rock You is due to head out on a UK tour, according to theatres across the country.

WhatsOnStage has seen that dates for the tour include Ipswich's Regent Theatre in 23 to 28 September, at the Millenium Forum 21 to 26 October, 25 to 30 November 2019 in Nottingham, Hull New Theatre 13 to 18 January 2020, Winter Gardens Blackpool 9 to 11 January 2020 and Mayflower in Southampton from 20 to 25 January

More dates and details of the tour are yet to be announced. Tickets will go onsale imminently.

We Will Rock You closed in the West End in 2014 and is currently touring internationally. The musical originally opened in 2002 at the Dominion Theatre in London and was uniformly panned by critics. It nevertheless went on to become one of the longest running musicals in West End history. A UK tour began in 2010 at the Palace Theatre in Manchester.
