After 12 years in the West End, the musical featuring the songs of Queen will close on Saturday
The WhatsOnStage Award-winning Queen musical We Will Rock You closes this Saturday at West End's Dominion Theatre, where it has been running since May 2002.
Co-creators Brian May, Roger Taylor and Ben Elton commented on the closure, saying:
“We want to thank every one of the many hundreds of incredible musical theatre artists, musicians and crew with whom we’ve had the privilege of working at the Dominion since 2002. And of course the incredible audiences who have rewarded them with over four and a half thousand standing ovations!”
With a book by Ben Elton, the show features more than 30 of Queen's greatest hits including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "Under Pressure", "Radio Gaga" and, of course, "We Will Rock You".

Sad We Will Rock You closing – triumph of populism over reviewers. Sort of UKIP of the West End
