Following a limited run in London earlier this year, Six will return to the West End for a month at the Arts Theatre in London from 30 August to 23 September.

Based on the lives and trials of the six wives of Henry VIII, the pop-concert musical from Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss includes numbers such as "Ex Wives", "Haus of Holbein" and "Don't Lose Ur Head". It will be directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, with set design by Emma Bailey and costume design by Gabriella Slade. Casting for the production is to be announced, with tickets on sale for London and Edinburgh on Thursday 19 April.

Prior to the production's time in the West End, the show will run at the Norwich Playhouse from 11 to 14 July and at Cambridge Arts Theatre from 17 to 21 July as part of a UK tour. It will also have a month-long run at the Edinburgh Fringe, playing at Underbelly's purple cow in George Square. Further venues for the UK tour are yet to be confirmed.

The piece is a co-production between Kenny Wax and Global Musicals. Wendy Barnes of Global Musicals said: "Kenny, Andy and I saw the previous production independently of each other but we were all immediately blown away by the funny, relevant humour and infectious score that these two young talents had created.

"We are proud to debut their first musical and begin an ambitious and exciting journey for the piece, which is particularly relevant at this time as we strive for female equality and empowerment. These women were so much more than history would have us believe."
