In Lipstick at the Pleasance cast announced

The cast for the world premiere of Annie Jenkins' new play In Lipstick has been announced.

Alice Hamilton will direct James Doherty (Dennis), Caroline Faber (Maud) and Alice Sykes (Cynthia).

The show is a tale of love and sex in a modern city. In Lipstick follows Cynthia, who is hiding from the world and Maud, who loves Cynthia but is beginning to suffocate.

Alice Hamilton and Barney Norris' company Up In Arms stage the play, with Doherty returning to work with them following his turn in Eventide.

The show opens 11 January, with previews from 9 January, and runs until 26 January.
