Dear Evan Hansen releases new West End tickets and search for fans for artwork

A second ticket release has been announced for the West End run of Dear Evan Hansen.

Tickets for further dates for the show will go on sale on Monday 10 June, with tickets onsale for dates to Saturday 4 April 2020.

The show, which begins in previews at the Noël Coward Theatre on 29 October, has also announced a search for fan artwork.

Producer Stacey Mindich has revealed that there will be an opportunity for fans to appear in the poster artwork for the show, as part of the mosaic background, which features real people. The poster is inspired by the musical's ending song "You Will Be Found".

While in New York and on tour, the show featured over 6,000 fans in the artwork. For a chance to be included, fans must submit a photo or video via the Dear Evan Hansen website before 4 August 2019. Full details will be released on the website from 10 June.

Casting for the London run of Steven Levenson, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul's Tony-winning musical is yet to be announced.

The piece is directed by Michael Greif, design is from David Korins, projection design is from Peter Nigrini, costume design is from Emily Rebholz, lighting design is from Japhy Weideman, sound design is by Nevin Steinberg, and hair design is by David Brian Brown.

Dear Evan Hansen tells of a boy in high school with social anxiety who fakes a series of letters and messages from a deceased member of his class to gain popularity. It won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Actor in a Musical for Ben Platt who starred in the show from its inception.
