Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt have released a mash-up of songs from their respective shows called "Found Tonight".

Arranged by Hamilton orchestrator Alex Lacamoire, the song combines lyrics from "The Story of Tonight" and "You Will Be Found" from Miranda's Hamilton and Pasek and Paul's Dear Evan Hansen – which Platt starred in on Broadway. A portion of the proceeds from the single will go to the March For Our Lives Initiative, which supports a demonstration taking place in Washington on 24 March demanding an end to gun violence and mass shootings in American schools.

Miranda's hip hop musical Hamilton, tells the story of US founding father Alexander Hamilton and opened on Broadway in 2015 winning 11 Tony Awards. It transferred to London's West End in December last year and was recently nominated for a record-breaking 13 Olivier Award nominations.

Dear Evan Hansen is a new musical by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. It tells the story of a high school senior who suffers from social anxiety disorder. It opened on Broadway in 2016 and won six Tony Awards. A West End transfer has yet to be announced.

Hamilton is currently running at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
