An iconic duo

Over its 20^th anniversary weekend, Wicked celebrated its iconic witches with two very special Pink and Green performances. At the anniversary performance itself, Wicked alumni including Kerry Ellis, Louise Dearman, Alexia Khadime, the original West End Glinda Helen Dallimore, and a score of others joined the 20^th anniversary company in raising a toast to “two best friends”, Elphaba and Glinda.

The songs

Nothing beats hearing Stephen Schwartz’s epic music sung live in the Apollo Victoria Theatre, one of the West End’s biggest theatres. Played by one of the West End’s biggest orchestras, Wicked’s thrillifying score features hits such as “Popular”, “For Good” and the iconic anthem “Defying Gravity.”

The company

WhatsOnStage Award winner Emma Kingston stars as Elphaba opposite celebrated West End favourite Zizi Strallen as Glinda. Joining them is Jordan Litz as Fiyero, having previously performed the role on both the national US tour and Broadway, making him the longest-running Fiyero in the production’s history.

Breaking records

Winner of over 100 global awards, and the ninth longest-running West End show of all time, Wicked has been a landmark of the West End for 20 years, and recently welcomed its 14 millionth visitor to the show!

A spellbinding production

The original West End blockbuster includes over 1,848 costume items, with 121 wigs and 252 costume changes throughout the show! Many of the costumes and jewellery are still hand-made to this day including all of Glinda’s swankified jewellery!
