Paddington The Musical offers opportunity to watch new cast dress rehearsal

Paddington The Musical has announced a new competition, giving people a chance to win tickets to watch the final dress rehearsal of the incoming company.

The musical, which won 7 Olivier Awards and 9 WhatsOnStage Awards, is playing at the Savoy Theatre.

Based on A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond and the Paddington film, presented by arrangement with StudioCanal, the piece features lyrics by Tom Fletcher, a book by Jessica Swale, and is directed by Luke Sheppard. It opened to overwhelmingly positive reviews late last year, with WhatsOnStage giving the show a big five-star thumbs up. Paddington The Musical is currently booking to 13 February 2028.

The new cast for the second year of performances at the Savoy Theatre was announced yesterday.

Sonia Friedman Productions, Eliza Lumley Productions and The Institute of Imagination, a children’s creative learning charity, are offering a chance to see the new cast in their final full dress rehearsal at the Savoy Theatre on Wednesday 28 October. Through a prize draw on Crowdfunder, 130 winners will each receive a pair of tickets to watch the production from the Grand Circle. Every entry raises money for the Institute of Imagination’s work with children.

Entries cost £10 and are available at crowdfunder.co.uk/p/paddington. A free postal entry route is also available. The draw closes at 9pm on Sunday 11 October, and winners will be drawn on Monday 12 October under independent oversight.
