The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has announced an extended booking period at the Gielgud Theatre until 23 May 2015, releasing over 100,000 tickets for sale.

The show, which is based on the award-winning novel by Mark Haddon, is adapted for the stage by Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott, and has already been seen by over 400,000 people worldwide. It currently stars Graham Butler as Christopher Boone.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time originally opened at the National's Cottesloe Theatre in August 2012. After a sold-out run, the show transferred to the Apollo Theatre in March of 2013, before moving to the Gielgud Theatre in June 2014.

The show is soon to open on Broadway, and will also embark on a UK tour in December 2014.
