Casting has been announced for the Young Vic's revival production of The Mountaintop.

Gbolahan Obisesan (Concrete Jungle, Cuttin' In) will star as Martin Luther King Jr and Ronkẹ Adékoluẹjo (Twelfth Night, The Oresteia) as Camae in the show, which is the JMK Award-winning production of 2016.

The Mountaintop won an Olivier Award for Best New Play in 2010 and is a fictional account of King's life, which looks at the more personal side to the legend. The play is set during the height of America's civil rights movement and this production is directed by Roy Alexander Weise.

Weise won this year's James Menzies-Kitchin Award of £25,000 to mount a production. Obisesan is currently a Genesis Fellow at the Young Vic.

The Mountaintop runs at the Old Vic from 12 to 29 October with previews from 7 October.
