The show opened last week at the Garrick Theatre
Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein will extend its run in the West End to September 2018, after opening at the Garrick Theatre last week.
The show garnered a number of rave reviews, including a five-star review from WhatsOnStage. Particular praise went to Hadley Fraser's leading Dr Frankenstein, as well as Ross Noble's bumbling sidekick Igor.
The cast also includes Lesley Joseph (Frau Blucher), Dianne Pilkington, Summer Strallen and Patrick Clancy.
With a book by Brooks and Thomas Meehan, with music and lyrics by Brooks, the story is about Frederick Frankenstein who inherits his grandfather's castle in Transylvania. Gene Wilder played the title role in the 1974 film.
The production opened at Newcastle Theatre Royal on 26 August before transferring to London last month.
Young Frankenstein runs at the Garrick Theatre until 29 September 2018.
