Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre is bringing a timeless classic to the stage next month; the tale of Eliza Doolittle on which the musical My Fair Lady is based – George Bernard Shaw‘s Pygmalion. We have eight pairs of tickets to give away to WOS Northwest visitors!
THE PLAY:
When Henry Higgins makes a bet with Colonel Pickering that he can turn a cockney flower girl into a lady, he sets out to change Eliza Doolittle completely and equip her for life in high society – but he reckons without the spirit and strength of Eliza herself in Bernard Shaw’s sparkling and biting classic. Featuring Torchwood actress Cush Jumbo as Eliza, Pygmalion runs at the Royal Exchange from 12 May – 19 June.
