Harriet plays Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre.

Her previous credits include Turn of the Screw (Grimeborn Opera Festival), Don Giovanni (Woodhouse Opera) Le Nozze di Figaro (RCM International Opera School).

We caught up with her to find out which five things she couldn't live without in her dressing room.

The Dressing Room

Tea

HJ: I drink tea…lots of tea.

Dr Nelson's Inhaler

HJ: I quite often have a steam before the show. Especially on a double show day. It keeps the chords moisturised.

Show Luxuries

HJ: These beauties add a touch of glamour to Christine Daae.

Notebook

HJ: I can't live without my notebook. It's so useful for taking down instructions, tips and little memos.

My dresser – Emma

HJ: This lovely lady is with me throughout the show to help get me in and out of costumes. I have around 10 costume changes and some are very quick. She is my rock and constantly has me in stitches.
