A Streetcar Named Desire will be released from 23 September. Tennessee Williams’ classic drama is led by Gillian Anderson, Vanessa Kirby and Ben Foster, directed by Benedict Andrews, and marks its return to NT at Home.
Nye will return to the platform from 15 September. Written by Tim Price and directed by Rufus Norris, the production stars Michael Sheen as Nye Bevan, examining the life and impact of the man behind Britain’s welfare state.
The Brightening Air, a new work by Conor McPherson, will also stream this season (with dates to be confirmed). Set in 1980s Ireland, the play considers themes of family, memory and fate within the walls of a family home.
