1) Murder Ballad

Arts Theatre

There's a crack cast in the UK premiere of this new musical. Kerry Ellis, Ramin Karimloo, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt and Norman Bowman star in the piece which is a dark, bloody tale of love and murder in New York.

Everyone has been lining up to book for the show, especially as we have 48 per cent off tickets…

2) The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?

Theatre Royal Haymarket

This recently announced revival of Edward Albee's black comedy will have Homeland and Billionaire star Damian Lewis playing Martin.

The brilliant Sophie Okonedo will also play opposite Lewis in Ian Rickson's production. With a thespy duo like that, it would be bonkers to miss it.

3) The Bodyguard

Dominion Theatre

It returned to the West End earlier this year, with the queen of soul Beverley Knight playing Rachel Marron, and people can't seem to get enough of its return.

Thea Sharrock's production is an expansive adaptation of the Oscar nominated film which starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.

4) Motown the Musical

Shaftesbury Theatre

Berry Gordy is the legend responsible for hits such as "My Guy" and "Please Mr Postman" and acts such as the Jackson 5, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder.

It's no surprise then that the musical about Gordy's life is filled with toe-tapping hits. It's a chance to hear all those classics sung live by a great cast.

5) Dead Funny

Vaudeville Theatre

Some super names from British comedy are behind this revival of Terry Johnson's comedy, including League of Gentlemen's Steve Pemberton, The Royal Family's Ralf Little and The IT Crowd's Katherine Parkinson.

We can't wait to see what they do with Dead Funny
