The Ciggie Run, starring Brookside‘s Louis Emerick, will again have audiences laughing out loud when it visits St Helens Theatre Royal in four weeks time.
Written by cabbie-turned-playwright John Evans, the hilarious production tells the tale of three blokes who plan a ‘ciggie run’ to subsidise their income during the recession.
It has been directed by Sylvie Gatrill and also features performances from Kev Seed, Charlie Griffiths, Ben Engelen, John F Doull and Ozzie Yue.
The play started off as one of a series of short plays that Evans created to be showcased at the Casa in Liverpool.
It will be at St Helens Theatre Royal between 16-19 October.
