The “Shake it Off” singer has ensured there will be no “Bad Blood”
One Australian group decided to go straight to the source, after one of the poignant moments in their production was put at risk.
Belvoir St, Sydney, are putting on a show about the last day of school, although the 17-year olds are all played by actors in their 70s. During the show, there's a moment where they let their hair down to 'Shake It Off' .
Last minute, the producers were informed they couldn't use the music because they didn't have the rights. So they took to Twitter to try and come up with a solution.
Matilda mastermind Tim Minchin saw this and also got involved, tweeting Ed Sheeran to see if he could get in touch with his BFF and lend a helping hand.
Enter T-Swift.
Within hours, Taylor replied "Permission granted. Good luck with your opening night! :)", and just like that, problem solved. Taylor Swift to the rescue once again.
Safe to say they were pretty happy.
@taylorswift13 OMG THANK YOU! #greygrey4taytay
