Where else can you interview playwright Ishy Din about his new play set in a cab office than in the back of a black cab driving around Kilburn?

A co-production between Tamasha, Live Theatre and Kiln Theatre, Approaching Empty opens at the Kiln this week prior to a UK tour.

Directed by Pooja Ghai, the play is set in a minicab office in north east England and follows two friends who decide to go into business together. Designs are from Rosa Maggiora, lighting from David Plater and the composer and sound designer is Arun Ghosh.
