Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Bryony Lavery's play Frozen.

Suranne Jones, Jason Watkins and Nina Sosanya will star in the piece, which is about a mother whose child goes missing. The piece will be directed by Jonathan Munby and runs at the Theatre Royal Haymarket next year.

Frozen originally premiered at the Birmingham Rep in 1998 and ran on Broadway in 2004 when it was nominated for a Tony Award for Best New Play. It ran at the National Theatre in 2002.

The piece, set in present day England, focuses on three characters: a serial killer, a psychiatrist and a child's mother. Jones has previously starred in Doctor Foster, as well as Scott & Bailey, Lawless and Doctor Who. Watkins has starred in The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, Trollied and W1A.

Frozen runs at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 21 February to 5 May with previews from 9 February.
