Shakespeare’s Globe has revealed the full cast and creative team for its new production of As You Like It, running in the Globe Theatre from 14 August to 25 October 2026.

The production will be co-directed by Globe associate artistic director Sean Holmes and playwright, actor and director Charlie Josephine, who reunite following their acclaimed collaboration on Cowbois at the RSC and Royal Court.

Lola Shalam will play Rosalind opposite Josephine as Orlando, with award-winner Gracie Oddie-James as Celia, Katherine Pearce as Jaques, Jonnie Broadbent as Touchstone, Thomas Josling as Oliver, Colm Gormley as Duke Senior/Duke Frederick/Corin, Molly Madigan as Phoebe, Phoebe Naughton as Audrey, Peter Bourke as Adam/Sir Oliver Martext, Jurell Carter as Charles/William, Jordan Rhys as Jaques de Boys/cover, Inez Solomon-Gardner as ensemble/cover and Busa Wickramasuriya as Silvius.

Holmes and Josephine said: “We’re thrilled to be co-directing again, and especially to be working with this brilliant creative team. It’s a wild play, full of unexpected impossible love that fuels radical transformation.”

The creative team includes assistant director Marley-Rose Liburd, assistant movement director Kate Crips, composer and musical director Katie Richardson, designer Paul Wills, movement director Tamsin Hurtado Clarke, fight and intimacy director Bethan Clark, voice director Gary Horner and text consultant Simon Trinder. Casting is by Shakespeare’s Globe head of casting Becky Paris.

The production also marks a professional and Globe debut for Wickramasuriya, while several cast members return to the venue following previous appearances, including Bourke, Broadbent, Gormley, Madigan, Naughton, Shalam and Solomon-Gardner.

Josephine previously wrote I, Joan and the five-star musical Pinocchio for Shakespeare’s Globe, with Pinocchio returning to the venue later this year.
