Producer Sonia Friedman has revealed her intentions to tour Shakespeare in Love before a return to the capital.
The play, which is running at the Noël Coward Theatre until 18 April 2015, is based on the Oscar-winning film which starred Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes.
Friedman spoke to The Stage at this year's Stage Awards, saying: "Shakespeare in Love is coming to the end of its first run in London. We'll tour it and then bring that back to London."
Declan Donnellan's production is led by Orlando James as Will Shakespeare and Eve Ponsonby as Viola De Lesseps.
The rest of the cast includes Nicholas Asbury as Wessex, Neal Barry as Henslowe, Richard Bremmer as Tilney and Sir Robert De Lesseps, Paul Brennen as Fennyman, Suzanne Burden as Queen Elizabeth, Ryan Donaldson as Ned Alleyn, Edward Franklin as Marlowe, Ncuti Gatwa as Wabash, Gregg Lowe as Sam, Andy McKeane as Ralph, Peter Moreton as Burbage, Joy Richardson as Nurse, Charlie Tighe as Nol and Stuart Wilde as Webster.
Shakespeare in Love is nominated for five WhatsOnStage Awards, winners of which are announced on Sunday
