The Castaways will be one of four contrasting dance works to be performed by Rambert in a spectacular evening of entertainment.

Set in a nostalgic past and performed to a soundtrack of popular music from the ‘50s alongside some traditional Yiddish music, the piece lays bare the dynamics of hierarchy, power and free will in a humourous and playful manner.

The show also features Monolith by Tim Rushton, Nijinsky‘s L’Après midi d’un faune, and Mark Baldwin‘s What Wild Ecstasy.

As well as premiering exciting new dance alongside classic masterpieces, there will also be live music by the Rambert Orchestra.

Rambert will make their return to their North West home The Lowry between 9-11 October.
