The National Theatre's production of People, Places and Things has announced an extension at Wyndham's Theatre, now booking until 18 June 2016.

Duncan Macmillan's new play originally opened at the National's Dorfman Theatre in September to excellent reviews, which heralded a stand-out turn from Denise Gough. She has since been nominated for Best Actress in A Play in the WhatsOnStage Awards as well as the production being nominated for Best New Play.

Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the show follows Emma, an actress whose life has been turned upside down by drink and drug addiction and is the latest collaboration between theatre company Headlong and the National Theatre.
