Traditional audience conventions will be relaxed for a one-off performance of ”The Quiet House”
Park Theatre will host a special parent, carer and baby performance of The Quiet House next month.
During the performance, patrons will be able to enter and leave the auditorium as they need, the actors will be aware of additional noise, and extra facilities such as buggy parking and a baby feeding area will be available.
The Quiet House is a play by Gareth Farr about a young couple who turn to IVF to start a family, and stars Oliver Lansley and Michelle Bonnard.
The performance will take place on Tuesday 5 July at 11am, with babes in arms admitted free of charge.
Artistic director Jez Bond said: "Having trialed a successful relaxed performance of The Buskers Opera, we are excited to be presenting a parents, carers and babies performance."
The Quiet House runs at the Park Theatre until 8 July.
