Stephen Sondheim’s musical is being staged at Aberdeen Arts Centre
Pictures have been released of the Aberdeen Arts Centre production of Company which opens in February.
The show's cast includes Oliver Savile, Arun Blair-Mangat, Anita Louise Combe and Ashleigh Gray and is being directed by Derek Anderson. Stephen Sondheim's musical has a book from George Furth and follows Bobby, who gets to his 35th birthday and all his friends ask why he won't give up being a bachelor and settle down.
The rest of the cast includes Simbi Akande as Martha, Kimberly Blake as Jenny, Stephen John Davis as Larry, Wayne Fitzsimmons as David, Jennifer Harding as April, Jacqueline Hughes as Sarah, Suzie Mathers as Kathy, Lisa-Anne Wood as Susan and Barnaby Thompson as Peter.
Marianne Elliott is directing a production of the same musical later this year, which stars Rosalie Craig as a gender-swapped Bobby. The show opens in October at the Gielgud Theatre and will also star Patti LuPone.
Company runs at the Aberdeen Arts Centre from 1 to 10 February.
