Casting has been announced the premiere of Mike Bartlett's Not Talking, which opens at the Arcola Theatre in April.
Directed by Defibrillator's James Hillier, the cast will feature David Horovitch (Absurd Person Singular, Garrick), Gemma Lawrence (Wasted, Orange Tree), Kika Markham (Escaped Alone, Royal Court) and Lawrence Walker (Wendy and Peter Pan, RSC).
First broadcast as a radio play on BBC Radio 3 in 2007, Not Talking asks what happens to a relationship when it becomes impossible to talk?
The production will have design by Amy Cook, lighting by Zoe Spurr, composition and sound by Simon Slater and movement by Jack Murphy.
Bartlett’s playwriting credits include King Charles III, Albion, Cock and Bull.
Not Talking runs at the Arcola Theatre from 1 May to 2 June, with previews from 25 April.
