The nominees in the 2014 WhatsOnStage Awards will be announced today (6 December) during a star-studded Launch Party at Café de Paris, in the heart of the West End.

Onstage at the Launch Party to help us announce the shortlists are: former WhatsOnStage Award winners Nigel Harman and Natalie Casey, Equity president Malcolm Sinclair, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Robert Lindsay and Rufus Hound and, speaking on behalf of Official Charity, The Big Issue Foundation, Big Issue founder John Bird. There will also be performances by Broadway star Eden Espinosa, Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple, I Can’t Sing), and Richard Fleeshman and the cast of the forthcoming UK premiere of Urinetown.
