The latest event in a series of shows to support transgender people seeking to transition has been announced.
Titled T*t, T*t, Boom!, the event, set up by Milo McCarthy (they/them, How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) will take place at the Phoenix Artists Club on 21 May 2023. The show will raise funds for McCarthy’s own transition surgery, with the series continuining to aid trans performers and creatives.
Completing the line up is Jordan Broatch (they/them, Anyone Can Whistle, Lift), Allie Daniel (she/her, Legally Blonde, Happy Meal), Iz Hesketh (they/she, Legally Blonde, Rent), Grace Mouat (she/her, Six, & Juliet), Maiya Quansah-Breed (she/her, Six, Rent) and Alex Young (she/her, Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Into the Woods).
Director Georgie Rankcom (they/them, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Anyone Can Whistle) will host the event.
McCarthy said: “The whole series has been a big celebration of queerness and individuality and I thought it would only be right to round off my own fundraising journey in the way I know best: being silly! Thank you all for your continued support, let’s have an amazing evening. Be trans, get old.”
Tickets are available via the Phoenix Artists Club website now.
