The cast of The Truth celebrated opening night at the Menier Chocolate Factory last night with guests including Clive Anderson, Hannah Waddingham and Downton Abbey star Samantha Bond, wife of cast member Alexander Hanson.
The UK premiere of Florian Zeller's play opened to a good reception from critics with WhatsOnStage's Michael Coveney giving it four stars.
In the new version by Christopher Hampton, Lindsay Posner directs Tanya Franks, Alexander Hanson, Frances O'Connor and Robert Portal.
The Truth runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory until 7 May, after which it transfers to the Theatre Royal Bath.
