Going the distance to the end of the run!

Hercules has announced the new company for its final extension.
The production features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, and a new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah. Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with co-choreography by Tanisha Scott, Hercules is based on the 1997 Walt Disney Studios animated film directed by John Musker and Ron Clements.
The film won Best Animation Feature at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Go the Distance.”
It opened at Theatre Royal Drury Lane last summer, going on to be nominated for three WhatsOnStage Awards including for Best New Musical.
From 29 June, Bradley Gibson will return to the role of Hercules for the show’s final dates at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, joined by Mae Ann Jorolan (Meg), Leslie Beehann (Terpsichore), Kimmy Edwards (Clio), Candace Furbert (Thalia), Malinda Parris (Calliope), Paige Peddie (Melpomene), Emile Ruddock (Phil), Stephen Carlile (Hades), Craig Gallivan (Bob), Matt Overfield (Charles), Felipe Bejarano (Standby Hercules), Psalms-Nissi Myers-Reid and Francessca Daniella-Baker (Standby Muses).
Also in the cast are Lana Antoniou,Daisy Barnett, Sarah Benbelaid, Courtenay Brady, Jack Butcher, Grace Chan, Jonathan Cordin, Sophie Cullen, Marie Finlayson, Nathan Louis Fernand, Ryesha Higgs, Barney Hudson, DeAngelo Jones, Joshua Lear, Serina Mathew, Lamoi Leon, Liam Marcellino, Harriet Millier, Ellie Mitchell, Saffi Needham, Ingrid Olivia, Patrick Robinson, Stephen Rolley, Ope Sowande, and Blake Tuke.
The show will conclude its time at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, after a final extension, on 5 September 2026.
The production is directed and choreographed by Nicholaw, with Scott serving as co-choreographer. Scenic and additional video design is by Dane Laffrey, while costume design is by Gregg Barnes and Sky Switser. Lighting design is by Jeff Croiter, with sound design by Adam Fisher and video design by George Reeve. Special effects are designed by Jeremy Chernick, and dance music arrangements are by David Chase.
Hair and wig design is by Mia M Neal, with make-up design by Kirk Cambridge-Del Pesche. The music supervisor and arranger is Michael Kosarin, with orchestrations by Danny Troob and Joseph Joubert, and dance arrangements also by David Chase. Casting is by Natalie Gallacher for Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher Casting.
