Photos have been released offering a first look at Donmar Warehouse's upcoming production of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure.

Directed by the venue's artistic director Josie Rourke (now entering her final year at the London theatre), the piece stars Hayley Atwell (Christopher Robin) and Jack Lowden (War and Peace), who swap in the roles of Isabella and Angelo.

The piece imagines the play in its original year of performance, 1604, and also in 2018.

It has design by Peter McKintosh, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Emma Laxton and composition by Michael Bruce.
