Gary Barlow and Joanna Riding to perform at 17th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards

The singer will perform a song from his musical ”The Girls”

Gary Barlow and Joanna Riding will perform the song "Scarborough" from The Girls at the 17th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards in February.

Riding will play Annie when Barlow and Tim Firth's musical opens at the Phoenix Theatre. Click here to watch our video in rehearsals with Barlow, Firth and the cast.

The Girls is nominated for Best Regional Production at this year's awards for an earlier run in Leeds and Manchester. It opens in the West End at the Phoenix Theatre on 21 February.

Barlow and Riding join the previously announced Amber Riley and Liisi LaFontaine, Tyrone Huntley, Ria Jones and the cast of School of Rock who will also be performing at the concert.

Barlow is also a judge on the BBC TV series Let It Shine which aims to find the cast of The Band, a musical based on the songs of Take That.

The 17th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards take place at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 19 February.
