Jane Krakowski will reprise her role as Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary! at the Trafalgar Theatre.

Written by Cole Escola and directed by Sam Pinkleton, Oh, Mary! is a comedy about Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. The 80-minute, one-act play explores her life and ambitions through a fictionalised portrayal of the former First Lady. It received a solid review from WhatsOnStage.

Krakowski, who previously played the role on Broadway, will be appearing for six weeks from 7 December 2026 to 16 January 2027. She will take over from Lolly Adefope, whose final performance in the West End production will be on 5 December. Casting for the role from 18 January 2027 onwards is to be announced.

The production has also extended its booking period and is now booking until 5 June 2027.

The current West End cast also includes Lucy Frederick as Mary’s Chaperone, J R Ballantyne as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant, Vinnie Heaven as Mary’s Teacher and Syrus Lowe as Mary’s Husband.

The creative team comprises scenic designer dots, costume designer Holly Pierson, lighting designer Cha See, sound design and music by Daniel Kluger, sound designer Drew Levy, wig designer Leah J Loukas and arranger David Dabbon. Casting is by Stuart Burt, with US casting by Henry Russell Bergstein.

Associate creatives include Georgie Rankcom (associate director), Zoë Hurwitz (scenic), Debo Andrews (costume), Tom Turner (lighting), Chris Reid (sound), Kim Kasim (wigs), Caitlin Morgan (music direction), Eleanor Dolan (costume supervisor) and Marcus Hall (props supervisor).

Oh, Mary! premiered off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in January 2024 before transferring to Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre in July 2024, where it continues to run.

The West End production opened at the Trafalgar Theatre on 3 December 2025 and won Best Entertainment or Comedy Play at the 2026 Olivier Awards. The show also won Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play for Escola and Best Direction of a Play for Pinkleton.
