The new musical is directed by Jeremy Herrin for Headlong
Full casting has been announced for Jack Thorne's upcoming new musical Junkyard.
Jeremy Herrin will direct the piece, which follows a group of teenage misfits who try to build an adventure playground.
The full cast is Scarlett Brookes (Debbie), Calum Callaghan (Rick), Josef Davies (Ginger), Erin Doherty (Fiz), Kevin McMonagle (Malcolm), Enyi Okoronkwo (Talc), Seyi Omooba (Tilly), Lisa Palfrey (Mum), Jack Riddiford (Higgy) and Ciaran Alexander Stewart (Loppy).
The piece has music from Oscar-winning composer Stephen Warbeck and opens at the Bristol Old Vic before a tour to the Rose Theatre in Kingston and Theatr Clwyd.
Thorne's most recent project was JK Rowling's eighth Harry Potter story – Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which recently earned 11 nominations in the WhatsOnStage Awards. Thorne's other work has spanned film, television, radio and theatre including the Royal Court production of Let the Right One In.
Junkyard runs at Bristol Old Vic from 24 February to 18 March before a UK tour.
